Byron Bay eco Cruises & Kayaks

explore - experience - enjoy

Byron’s NEW eco certified River Cruises & Guided Kayak Toursnrt membership logo

Byron Bay eco cruises and guided kayak tours operate daily on the Brunswick River in the Byron Shire and have Advanced Eco Tourism certification with Eco Tourism Australia.

The Brunswick River and its tributaries Marshalls Creek and Simpson Creek are part of the Cape Byron Marine Park and are a significant area for native birds and wildlife, migratory birds and marine life. The sea grass areas are teaming with a variety of fish, turtles and other marine life whilst the beaches, mud flats and sand bars are a host for all types of coastal and migratory birds. The mangrove areas are breeding grounds for crabs, oysters and fish.

Come and explore this wonderful waterway by riverboat or kayak with experienced, friendly and entertaining guides and learn how we can help protect this special river system for future generations to enjoy.

Our purpose built boat and kayaks allow us to take you to places unable to be visited any other way and the tours are kept personal with small numbers  so you can relax and enjoy the beautiful river, rainforest and mountain scenery as you cruise along this picturesque waterway.

A special tour ‘Cruiseykayaking’ incorporates both experiences into one. On this tour you can enjoy the scenic cruise and also try kayaking.

The Brunswick River is ideal for eco tours and is located 10 minutes drive north of Byron Bay, ½ hr south of Tweed Heads and 2 hrs south of Brisbane.
