We do not eat out much, Lorraine is an excellent cook.
When we do eat out we like quieter places preferably with a great view and healthy tasty food. Also if you can get a good beer and a really nice house rose` for a great price it's a winner for us.
Hidden in the hills just north of the beautiful Brunswick River is the Ocean Shores Country Club where all the boxes are ticked. Fantastic Thai food as well as other selections with beautiful views of the coast down to Byron Bay on the great outdoor deck and good bar prices.
You can do the Morning or Sunset Eco Rainforest River Cruise and have lunch or dinner at the club after the cruise. Its a great way to escape from the crowds and explore this extraordinary area, all within an easy drive of Byron Bay.
