Our thoughts on Coronavirus

Updated: Aug 17, 2021

*UPDATE* 17/8/21

Here we are again, over a year later, with lockdown in the whole of NSW and the Queensland border shut once again! We just read what we posted last year and it's still relevant now. Be kind and support each other through this.

Originally published March 27, 2020: It is interesting that 2020 is a time of change. We talk about 20/20 vision as being perfect eye sight so maybe it's time to open our eyes and create a better world.

Most people feel threatened by change, it is not business as usual, which is scary.

If we have to go through the pain we really need to make sure there is positive change at the end. We all know the problems - greed, selfishness and consumerism. We will all have lots of time to reflect and do it better.

Please remember we are all in this together and some will need more support than others.

A great old saying is: When the going gets tough the tough get going. Make yourself useful to others, its not all about you. Be nice to each other and socialise at a distance.

The potential positive Coronavirus outcomes:

* Many people travel an hour or more each way to work creating lots of pollution to sit behind a computer. Let’s sit behind the computer at home, what a great idea! It's happening now so why not continue it.

* Creates lots more quality family time.

* We're all in this together! So true so let's think globally as well as locally.

* Saves the environment, probably the single biggest thing we can do.

We are using this time to reflect and improve what we do. If you have any comments or suggestions on our website or our cruises we would love to hear them.
