A walk in the Nature Reserve

We are so lucky to live in an area that has beautiful places to take a walk. One of our favourite is to walk in the Brunswick Heads Nature Reserve along the river bank on the southern side of the beautiful Brunswick River. You can walk for about a kilometer through the forest and enjoy great views of the river. Some parts have an abundance of ferns and other areas have trees with amazing staghorns, elkhorns and birds nest ferns growing in them.

It is very hard to spot the birds with so many trees but the birdsong is amazing with so many different species of birds living in this area. You can see stingrays and fish swimming in the clear water alongside the river banks. It's a beautiful area to walk, reconnect with nature and enjoy fresh clean air.

Take care, keep well and enjoy your local walks.
